What a year it's been! I'm dropping my version of the acclaimed 30 under 30 lists released annually.
It's a list that highlights the vanilla things that are important but are almost always overlooked.
It also doubles up as a list of #PeopleIAdmire

A special curated list of newly minted 30 year olds (in my life!) that held their ground during this weird year.
Achievements should not only be restricted to your career or entrepreneurship or poetry, in a year like this , it’s important to recognise the vanilla things, the stuff that we may not think was significant, but most certainly was.
This selection, is a limited edition list released only this year, because we sure as hell hope we do not see another year like this in our lifetime
Chryslynn D’costa, 30.
Serein, Bangalore
Held her company together, without losing a single team member, while telling off an insensitive, sexist CEO of a pretty larger MNC, nicely.
Killing with Kindness. Literally.
Anushka Gudhino, 30.
BMO, Vancouver
Went into work (at the bank) every single day in the pandemic and, helped an old man whose money was being siphoned off by his family members.
Protecting the Senior Citizens. Literally.
Jude Kenric D’Souza, 30.
Netflix, Mumbai
Moved into a new home to ensure everyone in his family is comfortable to work from home and went out of his way to help a with a friend’s sick mom.
Lending a helping hand. Literally.
Jason Mendes, 30.
Deloitte, Mumbai
Started a new job on day 3 of the March lockdown. Never met any of his new colleagues or bosses, but manages to crush it on the job everyday. Also, went around giving brownies to friends and their families.
Delivering Happiness. Literally.
Alethea Baptista, 30
Questrade, Toronto
Has spent most of this year alone in quarantine and not killed anyone yet. Rode 100kms on her bike to raise money for SickKids hospital.
Saving Sick Kids. Literally.
Trishita Khanderia-Doshi, 30.
ISDI & Instituto Marangoni, Mumbai
Did online classes for Gen Z and held their attention! Graded assignments without letting general pandemic frustrtaions interfere.
Inspiring the Youth of Today. Literally.
Making some pretty great lemonade over there. Cheers to you guys!
