A Simple Prayer

2 Chronicles 20: 17 - "You will not have to fight this battle. Just take up your positions and wait; you will see the Lord give you victory. do not hesitate or be afraid. Go out to battle, and the Lord will be with you!"

i do not have anything to say about anything today.

no life experiences or witty one-liners.

this serving of lemonade is straight from the heart of someone who is utterly helpless, disturbed, overwhelmed, and saddened by what the pandemic has done to our lives

today I choose to pray and invite you all to pray with me.

No matter your religion and if you do not believe then please wish this into the universe.

i pray for those that have tragically lost loved ones to the virus, may find the strength to carry on.

i pray for those on hospital beds, ICUs, ventilators, and even those isolating at home, that they recover with no complications

i pray for all frontline workers everywhere for strength to continue their life-saving work and patience to get them through the hardest days

i pray for families suffering financially because of this pandemic, that they find relief and guardian angels to help them.

i pray for those humans scamming others for medicine and supplies, that they may have a change of heart and do the right thing.

i pray for politicians that are placing votes over lives that they either realize the dept of their actions or get what’s coming for them

i pray for people that are alone, that they see the light at the end of this tunnel.

i pray for people that are hesitant to take the vaccine that they may believe in this breakthrough in science for their own sake.

i pray for people that do not recognise their privilege in a time like this, that they may be humbled and reach out to help

i pray for all volunteers and people reaching out to help everywhere, on the ground, and online that they may be blessed in abundance for their good deeds.

i pray we emerge from this catastrophe changed, humbled and helpful.

i pray that on the darkest days we believe in the power of miracles and yet never stop doing our bit.
